As Michigan’s agricultural community faces the unprecedented challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, getting clear information on financial relief is a top priority. Many farmers are asking if the new federal programs apply to them, and how they can access them.
To answer these urgent questions, iHemp Michigan is proud to host Blain Becktold from the Small Business Administration (SBA) on the iHemp Hour, today at 4:20 PM.
Blain has been working around the clock to help get information out to the public on the new COVID-19 relief packages. He will provide a direct briefing on the two main programs available to our state’s agricultural businesses:
- The Paycheck Protection Program (PPP): Designed to help you keep your workforce employed.
- The Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL): Designed to provide economic relief to businesses experiencing a temporary loss of revenue.
Both of these programs are available to farmers. If you have questions about eligibility, how to apply, or what you need to prepare, you do not want to miss this session.
